Make text bigger

The “Larger text” button

If you press “Larger text”, your browser remembers your choice on your own device (in “local storage”), so the text stays larger on other pages. It is not sent to us. Press the button again to switch it off.

The “Which option suits me?” questions

Your answers are only used to work out the results on the page. We do not store them, and they are not linked to you. They do appear in the page address, so they may be kept in your own browser history. To protect the service from misuse, our server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address to limit how many times results can be requested in a short time. Old records are removed automatically.

Links to other websites

Links to other websites go through our own short address first (starting /go/). We count how many times each link is clicked, with the date and the page it was clicked from. We do not record who you are or your internet address. Once you leave our site, the other website’s privacy policy applies. Amazon and other shops may use cookies when you visit them.

Videos

If we show a YouTube video, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google’s privacy policy applies.

Server logs

Like almost all websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as internet address, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these to identify visitors.

Email

If you email us at hello@laterlifebathrooms.co.uk, we use your email only to reply, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to ask what information we hold about you. Contact us at the email address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
